In April 2012 an Australia & Papua New Guinea Ship DTS will start in Townsville, home port of the YWAM Medical Ship. This year we are offering limited spots on the Aussie & PNG Ship DTS for 20 people aged between 18-35yrs, so be fast! This is a rare opportunity to explore some of the most remote parts of PNG, and help provide health care & community development in the villages we visit.
What is a DTS you may ask? Have you ever dreamed of adventure, doing something that counts with your life, helping people, seeing your life change, learn new skills and developing deep friendships along the way while encountering your faith with God? You will receive life-changing teaching from a variety of international speakers. You will also have the opportunity to put your learning into action as you work on the ship, relate to those on board, experience new cultures and meet with people along the way.
Do I need a medical background? Skilled or unskilled, health professionals, marine specialists, crew, businessmen, male or female, all are welcome to join.

Total Cost: $6,800 (Excludes Visa costs and travel expenses to and from Townsville from home)
